Every year since 2004, our club has picked a day in October for a day-long excursion through southern Wisconsin,
following winding roads through farm country and small towns. Combined with cool weather and fall colors, it
adds up to a day of the kind of driving that suits the Porsche 356 perfectly. It's no wonder then that we turn out
year after year, to meet up in Beloit at 8am and rack up 400 or more miles by the time we get home.
Our destination this year was Spring Green, best known for its association with Frank Lloyd Wright,
born in nearby Richland Center. Lunch was at the House on the Rock Resort, nestled in the
valley of the Wisconsin River, followed by a stop for dessert in the small town of Argyle.
Club member Cindy Olsen was along for the ride and took these photos for us.
