Spring Fling Drive and Lunch.

A drive followed by lunch at Danuta and Steven Schmidt’s home in Ingleside.

This event has become one of our most popular and well-attended events for the sixth year.

Our first driving event of the year is both a driving event and a social event. Paul Masanek will lead a backroad drive from Gurnee Mills through the Chain of Lakes. Our destination will be Danuta and Stephen Schmidt’s home in Ingleside, then have an outdoor lunch and lots of time to mix and mingle. The setting is Stephen and Danuta’s beautiful home which sits deep in the woods on a hill overlooking a lake.

An awesome event in Springfield to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of Route 66. Lincoln Trail PCA has 50 parking spots in front of the old capitol building. Get your entry in early for a discounted fee and to reserve a parking spot in front of the capitol building. Full details in the attached PowerPoint file. A few blocks away is the Lincoln Presidential Museum and Library. It is very well done and extremely informative with many interactive exhibits and of course, lots of good Civil War content. Admission is $15.00. This is a PCA Lincoln Trail event to which we are invited. Registration instruction in attachement.
