Tech session at Barnaba Autosport in Batavia
We welcome all aircooled Porsche owners to this Tech Session, whether you are a member of Midwest 356 Club, nearby 356 clubs, or PCA. If you are not a member of any Porsche aircooled club, you are welcome, too. If you are thinking of buying a 356 or other aircooled Porsche, this is the event for you. Please join us and bring your questions!
This Tech Session will be a discussion of aircooled Porsche models, covering technical issues and simple maintenance that you can perform in your home garage. If you are considering buying an early aircooled Porsche, this Tech Session should help you make your decision.
On display will be aircooled Porsche 356, 912, 911, 914 models. No, we will not be disassembling any of them. They will be present for illustration purposes.
We will discuss technical and aesthetic differences and contrast the similarities and differences among the models.
In addition, we will discuss maintenance and long-term issues that cause degradation due to not being readily apparent because the issues happen so subtly. We will discuss maintenance of these cars, both for the driving season and preparation for storage.
This event will start at 9:00 with the presentation scheduled to begin at 10:00. It will end around noon or whenever all questions have been addressed.
Pastries and coffee will be served.
There is no charge for this event, however, we ask that you register so that we know how many donuts to order and how many chairs to rent.
